Naturally Stopping Excessive Sweating

If sweating excessive amounts is making you feel down, you will be excited to find out there are lots of natural ways to halt sweating.

Before giving you a list of the methods that can alleviate problems with your sweat, you should be aware that sweating is an imperative process and you should not eliminate sweating altogether. Sweating is your body's temperature control function. The sweat glands yield perspiration which is brought to the skin's surface when the body temperature goes up. As the perspiration evaporates, it helps cool your skin to a normal temperature. Without sweat, your body will start to overheat, causing severe medical issues, even death.

Even with that being said, every individual will know that sweating can be an uncomfortable situation, both for ourselves and for the people around us. It won't cost an arm and a leg to sort the problem out. There are a multitude of effortless, economical, natural means to stop sweating excessive amounts.

The most obvious means to stop sweating naturally is to avoid those situations that trigger you to sweat: Forsake vigorous high temperatures, spicy foods and exercise. That being said though, this avoidance isn't always possible.

Be sure to drink enough cold water to keep your body temperature down. Water is plentiful and inexpensive. By drinking no less than eight 8 oz glasses throughout the day, you'll keep your body cooled down. Try to stay in shady, cool areas as well.

A different natural way to stop sweating is to bathe often, even quite a few times a day if it's required. Use a loofah sponge, which as a rule is better at scrubbing away bacteria that lead to body odor. Make certain you especially scrub your toes, your groin and your armpits. These are all locations where bacteria flourish, which is why these parts are so susceptible to body odor.

There are several natural deodorants that you can apply when you put your clothes on. You can make your own by combining equal parts of water and rubbing alcohol with little amounts of rose water and alum (both are readily available at grocery and drug stores.) Or, you can try using a small amount of talcum powder or cornstarch. These can be less irritating than the favored antiperspirant/deodorants that have aluminum chloride or aluminum chlorohydrate. Ask at a health food store for other natural antiperspirants.

If your face is susceptible to sweating, try keeping a small spray bottle of witch hazel nearby, along with a small supply of cotton balls. Spray the witch hazel on one of these cotton ball and gently brush it over the face for effective relief.

Natural ways to stop sweating are very easy to use and not expensive. You need not have to break the bank to stop breaking your sweat.
